What Pauley Perrette Did After NCIS?
Pauley Perrette starred in the sitcom Broke for CBS two years after departing from NCIS. In the show, she played Jackie, a single mother who took in her estranged sister and her husband after the man’s family severed their ties.
After just one 13-episode season, which ran from April to June of 2020, Broke was canceled. In November of that same year, Perrette declared her acting retirement.
The now-retired actress found the next few years to be particularly difficult. Apart from her father’s early 2021 COVID-19 death, Perrette revealed in September 2022 that she had experienced a “massive stroke” the previous September.
