Why Did Addison Rae Leave the Hype House? What Led to This Decision?

The TikTok Hype House is a group home, a kind of collaborative home base where members or so-called ‘collab houses’ reside together in one mansion and make content for the app collectively.

An enormous backyard, a pool, and palace-like interiors. Only members or collaborators can view it. The main TikTok account has 7.5 million followers, posting videos that capture the group recording in the home.

Recently one of their house which could be the next big is rumored to have left The TikTok Hype House, the question fans are asking now is, Why did Addison Rae leave the Hype House? Read through to find out.

What led to Addison Rae’s Departure From the Hype House?

She hasn’t left yet, however, there are a ton of signs that Addison is done with the House, just like there were before the D’Amelios left. She never posts on the group’s TikTok or shows off the House merch.

That being said, the House Instagram does promote her photos on their story, and they still follow her, but they also still follow Charli and Dixie, so that might not say much.

Addison herself captioned the video that she’d left Hype House, which will only be certain when we get some sort of confirmation à la the D’Amelios but Twitter is rooting for her to finally branch off on her own.

Who are the Members of Hype House?

Sponsored by Chase Hudson, Thomas Petrou, Daisy Keech, Alex Warren, and Kouvr Annon. At its peak, it had 21 members, among whom were the likes of Addison Rae, Charli D’Amelio, and Dixie D’Amelio.

One of the co-founders, Daisy Keech, exited in March 2020 due to internal wrangles with the others in the house. According to her YouTube video, she claims that she deposited $18,000 to secure the pad and was thrown out by other members.

That’s a lawsuit against both Chase Hudson and Thomas Petrou, with D’Amelio supposedly even considering building her own influencer collaborative space to rival the Clubhouse.

By May 2020, a representative for the D’Amelio’s confirmed that the sisters had also left when “the Hype House started to become more of a business”.

Final Thoughts

Popular TikTok star Addison Rae is said to be the next influencer who will quit the Hype House permanently. At least that was according to Bryce Hall in a new Instagram Live he posted recently, where she was taking back her words and crying that she didn’t want to be associated with the much-reviled collective in the first place.

Not that 20-year-old Addison would be the first to part ways from the LA-based group best known for their adorkable TikToks and blowing up dance challenges. Not at all. Charlie and Dixie D’Amelio did just that a couple of weeks ago.
