Both parties haven’t given the reason for their break up. However, according to an online source “When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her,” “People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn’t. Ariana just felt he wasn’t there like he should have been.”
The story goes on to say that Grande and Brooks broke up last month, presumably sometime after Grande posted a picture of herself kissing Brooks to Instagram, and remain friends.
The Instagram picture was posted just four weeks ago, meaning that Grande’s break up from Brooks must be among the most recent on record.

Almost a year to the day of Grande’s recent split from Phillips, she found a new love—a second chance for happiness that came with MTV star Jai Brooks.
They first laid eyes on each other in August 2012 via Twitter and commenced dating. Things were getting pretty hot and heavy for the pair until Brooks took to the social media site in 2013 and accused the singer of cheating on him.

Then, of course, according to Us Weekly, the former lovebirds returned despite rekindling their toxic relationship only a month ago and then broke up for good four months later.
